  8/22/2011   Percussion Parents: Immediately following the Booster Club Meeting tonight, we will have one of two Indoor Percussion Meetings. The other meeting will be held after rehearsal tomorrow, 8/23. All percussion parents must have a parent present at one of the meetings.

  8/22/2011   After rehearsal this evening, starting at 6:00PM, we will have our first 2011-2012 Booster Club Meeting. We hope to see all of our parents there!

  8/16/2011   Update: Our first 2011-2012 fundraiser, Maestro, featuring pizza kits, snackers, cookie dough, cheesecakes, etc, will end Monday, August 22nd.   8/10/2011   Reminder: Meet the Vikings has been changed to THURSDAY night, August 11 at 6:00 PM. We will simply stay after practice, change into our "hot-weather" uniform and give our performance.

  7/25/2011   Activity schedule changes for camp: Big Wheelie is Monday 7-9. Tuesday we will be watching the Crossmen. Wednesday is the trip to Hattiesburg if you have purchased a ticket and Thursday is shaving cream/giant slip 'n'slide at 5:30. Thanks!

  7/20/2011   Exciting Development! The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps contacted us about using Warren Central as a stop-over on their summer tour. Thanks to the cooperation of WCHS principal Mr. Smith, Coach Morgan, Coach Head, and numerous other individuals, this group will be staying on our campus all day Tuesday, July 26th, until Tuesday night. Our Tuesday night band camp activity will be watching the group rehearse in our stadium for at least 1 hour. This is very exciting, as these groups are considered the finest musical-marching ensembles in the world! Let's show them our hospitality!!

  7/19/2011   Reminder: This Friday, July 22nd, is Band Registration Day, between 8:00am and 5:30pm. ALL BAND STUDENTS (or just parents) are required to come by the band hall to pay fees, get your band locker, check-out school owned instruments, and flip-folders/lyres.
